Who We Are
Sandustry Wiki is an independent, fan-made guide hub for Sandustry, the pixel-physics factory automation sandbox by Lantto Games, published by Hooded Horse. We are not affiliated with Lantto Games or Hooded Horse — this is a community project built by players, for players.
What We Cover
Our guides are organized into six hubs built around the questions players actually search for:
- Guides — beginner walkthroughs, the gold loop, automation, water & Fluxite, and achievements.
- Wiki — material index, tech tree, artifacts, buildings, and EA vs Demo differences.
- Compare — how Sandustry stacks up against Factorio, Satisfactory, Terraria, Noita and DSP.
- Mods — official modding tools, Steam Workshop, and installation help.
- Buy — price, platforms, Game Pass, the free Demo, and worth-it reviews.
- Fix — launch errors, crashes, black screens, and performance troubleshooting.
Editorial & Verification Policy
Sandustry is an Early Access game that changes fast — builds, recipes and mechanics are rebalanced regularly. To keep this wiki trustworthy:
- Build-tagged. Every guide states the game build it was written for (e.g. EA v0.5.4), so you know how fresh the information is.
- Source-verified. Facts that are checked against official channels carry a VERIFIED marker with the source linked.
- Community-tested. Where official documentation is missing, content reflects hands-on testing by players and is labeled as such.
- Dated. Each page shows its last update date; pages are re-checked after major patches.
Primary sources we verify against: the Steam store page, the official Wiki, the official Discord, and r/SandustryGame.
Corrections & Feedback
Found something outdated or wrong? Sandustry evolves with every patch and so must this wiki. Report errors with a link to the page and the correct information, and we will fix and re-verify it — typically within a few days.
